Birgit Seiferth, Founder of THE LOOP BETWEEN US brings together over 45+ years of professional experience and a lifelong passion for textiles, craftwork and people.

ABOUT BIRGIT

Birgit grew up in Northern Bavaria on a small farm and wanted to explore the world. Trained to be a clothing taylor and with a Diploma in Textile Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieurin (FH) Textilerzeugung), both in Germany, and former lecturer in textile technology at Universities and design schools for her employer - a multinational company and supplier in the apparel and textile industry. For example, she worked in application technology, sales and marketing introducing a textile sound absorber in the automotive industry and product development of well-known global textile brands. Birgit collaborated with people from all over the world throughout her career and lives the international spirit.

As a volunteering Ambassador of a global expatriate network since 2014, she combines her deep understanding of professional textile & craftsmanship with her love for cultural connection and community-building.

Through THE LOOP BETWEEN US, Birgit brings her expertise, empathy, and decades of experience to create a space where textile technology and creativity, awareness, and belonging meet. She is genuinely excited to see what will continue to grow from this shared journey - because it’s something we are all creating together.
